Vikram Simha, the brother of MP Pratap Simha, has reportedly been arrested by forest officials in connection with a case of timber theft.
In Nandagodanahalli, located in the Belur taluk of Hassan district, it has come to light that Vikram Singha has been detained by forest department officials. He is currently being interrogated for his alleged involvement in cutting down and transporting hundreds of valuable trees.
A total of 126 trees, spanning across 10 acres of land in Nandgodanahalli, have been illegally felled. As a result, the Belur Range Forest Officer (RFO) has filed a case against the landowners, Jayamma, Rakesh Shetty, and others. The felled trees are currently being stored in the forest department depot.
