Mysuru/Bengaluru: The Mysuru district administration, led by Social Welfare and Mysuru District In-charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa, formally extended an invitation to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to attend the world-famous Mysuru Dasara celebrations.
At the Chief Minister’s residence office, the delegation honoured Siddaramaiah with a silk shawl, garland, and fruit basket before handing over the official Dasara invitation. The CM was requested to participate in the inaugural ceremony and major festivities.
Later, invitations were also extended to Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar and Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara for the Dasara inauguration and associated cultural programmes. Minister Mahadevappa himself had earlier received a ceremonial invitation. On the occasion, the poster of ‘Yuva Sambhrama’, the youth cultural event, was unveiled.
The event was attended by Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh, Deputy Commissioner G. Lakshmikanth Reddy, Police Commissioner Seema Latkar, SP Vishnuvardhan, ZP CEO S. Yukesh Kumar, Additional DC Dr. P. Shivaraju, Chamundi Development Authority Secretary M.J. Roopa, and other members of the Dasara Reception Committee.
