
Bengaluru gets a pat too, but slips overall from last year
BENGALURU:
Mysuru has once again been judged the cleanest city in the category of cities with a 3-10 lakh population. It was top-ranked in 2015 and 2016, and ranked third last year. In cities with a population over 1 lakh, it has come fifth, according to the Swachh Survekshan 2020 survey released by the Centre on Thursday.

Bengaluru has been awarded the Best Self-Sustainable City award from 47 cities with a population of more than 10 lakh. Overall, the city is ranked 214, down from 194 last year.
