BENGALURU/MYSURU: A young man who had composed a song praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi was reportedly attacked by a group of individuals who forced him to chant slogans in support of Pakistan and Allah. The group not only tore his clothes but also threatened his life.
The victim, Rohit Raman, recounted the incident, stating, “Last week, I shared a song dedicated to PM Modi on social media with my friends and colleagues. While sitting near the Government Guest House, a young man approached me. Unaware of his religious background, I asked him to watch the song, subscribe to my channel, and share it with others.”
“After viewing the video, he led me to his friends who verbally abused me for composing a song about Modi. They coerced me into chanting ‘Pakistan zindabad’ and ‘Allah hu Akbar’, threatening violence if I refused,” Rohit claimed.
Rohit went on to describe how the group of youths desecrated a photo of Lord Sri Ram and a flag in his possession by urinating on them. “They poured beer on me, physically assaulted me, cut my hand with a beer bottle, and burned me with cigarettes,” he added. The police later took him to a hospital for treatment, and he has filed a complaint with the Lakshmipuram police.
