The New Zealand government is stepping up efforts to combat alcohol-related harm in communities by launching a new initiative designed to support local prevention, intervention, and innovation efforts. Mental Health Minister Matt Doocey announced today that the newly established Community Action Fund will allocate $1 million in its first round of funding to community-led projects aimed at reducing the negative effects of alcohol consumption.
