The National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC) has provided concessional credit amounting to Rs. 2347.15 crore over the past three financial years (2021-22 to 2023-24), benefiting a total of 5,50,939 individuals from notified minority communities. This significant initiative aims to support economic empowerment and self-sustainability among Buddhists, Christians, Jains, Muslims, Parsis, and Sikhs, as defined under the National Commission for Minorities Act, 1992.
