BENGALURU:
The city’s bicycle enthusiasts have got some help from BMTC. The transport corporation has now decided to fix bicycle holders to 100 of its buses. Each holder at the front of the bus can carry 2 bicycles.
The corporation’s pro-active measure is a nod to the increased use of bicycles as a safe and healthy mode of transport, especially during these pandemic times.
In the first phase, the bicycle holders will be fixed to buses operating on the Ring Road. Later, it could be expanded to all BMTC buses.
