In a strategic move, Patanjali Ayurved, spearheaded by Yoga Guru Ramdev, and Dharampal Satyapal Group have announced plans to acquire Magma General Insurance from Sanoti Properties LLP, marking Patanjali’s foray into the insurance sector. The acquisition is valued at Rs 4,500 crore and is awaiting regulatory clearance.
