The Bengaluru city police, from top brass to constable, are alive to that woes migrant workers who have been living from hand to mouth during the lockdown. They have helped in various ways, from distributing food parcels to giving moral support to this section.
On Saturday, city police commissioner Bhaskar Rao was seen in a video addressing migrant workers in Thalghatpura on Kanakapura Road. He gave them a pep talk and also explained the necessity for the lockdown to them.
DCP (South) Rohini Katoch Sepat tweeted: “Bengaluru City Police under the leadership of CP Bhaskar Rao sir .. reaching out to migrant workers in an effort to reduce their hardships and improving lockdown implementation.. CP sir & addl CP sir addressing migrant workers in Thalghatpura.”
