BENGALURU:
With coronavirus cases rapidly increasing in Bengaluru, rumours too are rife, especially on social media.
Concerned over the trend, City Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao has appealed to the public in a tweet on Wednesday not to spread misinformation and rumours on social networking sites.

One rumour doing the rounds is that Bengaluru will see another lockdown and migrants are rushing back to their hometowns.
The police department is keeping an eye on social networking sites, and is planning to take legal action against rumour-mongers.
