Bengaluru: A well-known sexologist and medical professional in Bengaluru has filed a complaint alleging sexual harassment and persistent stalking, triggering a police investigation in the Koramangala area.
According to the complaint lodged at the Koramangala Police Station, the accused allegedly followed the doctor repeatedly while she was returning home. The man, described as behaving in a suspicious and disturbing manner, would allegedly stand in front of her and refuse to reveal his identity when questioned.
The doctor stated that she had been harassed continuously for the past three months, with the stalker’s behaviour escalating over time. Unable to tolerate the repeated harassment any longer, she approached the police seeking immediate action.
Police officials said that the unidentified accused fled the spot upon noticing police movement. A case has been registered, and Koramangala police have launched a search operation to trace and arrest the suspect. Further investigation is underway.
