Random thermal screening also in place
BENGALURU:
The Bengaluru division of South Western Railway has taken precautionary steps to demarcate ‘safe social distancing’ for passengers at all computerized passenger reservation (PRS) centres. ‘Safe distance limits’ have been marked near ticket counters and are also being ensured in the seating arrangements in the reservation area.
In addition, random thermal screening is being done at KSR Bengaluru Railway Station.
A cleaning protocol is already in place to disinfect the coaches regularly as well as taps, pantries, toilets, etc.
