The South African Police Service (SAPS) has provided an update regarding the recruitment and selection process for the 2024/2025 police trainees. According to a statement issued on Thursday, the first group of 3,359 trainees began their training at various SAPS academies last week Monday. A second group of successful candidates will soon receive written notifications to report for training. The remaining 2,186 trainees are expected to commence their training before the end of February 2025.
