Bengaluru reports 94 positive cases, 3 out of state’s 9 deaths
BENGALURU:
Karrnataka reported an eye-popping 416 Covid-19 positive cases on Saturday as well as 9 deaths, of which 3 were in Bengaluru.
With this, the total number of positive cases is now 8,697 in the state.
Saturday’s new cases break-up is: Bengaluru 94, Bidar 73, Ramanagaram and Ballari 38 each, Kalaburagi 34, Mysuru 22, Hassan 16, Raichur 15, Udupi 13, Haveri 12, Vijayapura 9, Chikkamagalur 8, Dharwad and Chikkaballapur 5 each, and Dakshina Kannada, Mandya, Uttara Kannada and Kolar 4 each.
So far, 5,391 people have recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals, while 3,170 are in hospitals or quarantine centres.
Saturday’s 9 deaths take Karnataka’s Covid-related fatalities to 132 so far.
