BENGALURU: Minister for Law, Justice, Human Rights, Parliamentary Affairs, Legislation, and Tourism, H.K. Patil, announced a comprehensive plan for the development of Savadatti Yellamma Hill in North Karnataka. The plan aims to enhance the infrastructure to cater to the needs of devotees visiting the pilgrimage center.
Patil presided over the state-level committee meeting of the Renuka Yellamma Field Tourism Development Board, where the plan was discussed.
Following the government’s commitment to the holistic development of Savadatti Yellamma Hill, Minister Patil commended the Belagavi district administration for their efforts in improving the pilgrimage site.
The upcoming development plan includes the establishment of a spacious parking system, a queue complex inspired by the Tirupati model, provisions for carts, a ring road, and special arrangements for elderly devotees. Notable officials such as Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi, Savadatti MLA Vishwas Vaidya, Tourism Secretary Salma Faheem, Religious Endowments Department Commissioner T. Venkatesh, and Belgaum District Commissioner Roshan were present at the meeting to discuss the implementation of the plan.
