BENGALURU:
After huge criticism from both the opposition parties — the Congress and the JDS — the state government has decided to postpone the inauguration of the Yelahanka flyover which was to be named after Veer Savarkar.
In a press release, BBMP, which had executed the project at a cost of Rs 34 crore, said a new date will be announced shortly.
According to the release, the event was postponed due to the lockdown and the likelihood of a large crowd at the venue.
