Arpit remained there near his father even when Surendra was lighting the matchstick with a hope that his father will not go to extreme.
To his rude shock, the father threw the burning matchstick on his son.
Arpit, engulfed in flames, ran on the road. The passersby and those working in the warehouse rushed to his rescue, doused the flame and rushed to the Victoria Government Hospital.
After a week, Arpit succumbed to his burn injuries on Thursday.

The reason behind the murder is suspected to be irregularities in the financial dealing, which irked father to take the extreme step.
