South Bengaluru Commissioner’s Midnight Visit to HSR Layout Park Puts Civic Issues in Spotlight

Bengaluru: In a surprise late-night visit, the South Bengaluru City Corporation Commissioner K. N. Ramesh inspected a public park located on 16th ‘A’ Main Road in HSR Layout, focusing on the functioning of streetlights and park illumination systems.

During the inspection, local residents’ association representatives and morning walkers, noticing the Commissioner’s presence, took the opportunity to raise several long-pending civic issues. Residents highlighted problems such as illegal parking, footpath encroachments, malfunctioning streetlights, and other infrastructure-related concerns affecting daily life in the area.

Responding to the grievances, the Commissioner stated that a ward-wise inspection programme has already been initiated to directly engage with citizens and understand ground-level issues. He assured residents that, wherever possible, on-the-spot instructions are being issued to concerned officials to expedite solutions and ensure timely redressal of complaints.
