BENGALURU:
The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board has made it clear that there is no need for students or parents to worry about the SSLC examinations as the Board will take a suitable call after the lockdown is withdrawn and sufficient time will be given for students to get prepared.
Dr. KG Jagadeesha, Commissioner of the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board, said in a circular that the SSLC examination for 2019-20 was scheduled to be held from March 27 to April 9. However, due to the pandemic and the resulting lockdown, the examinations were postponed.
He also made it clear that a revised schedule will be published and sufficient time given for students for reassessment and to prepare for the examination.
“Prior to the examination, students will have to take a 10-day reassessment class to prepare for the exam, and then the SSLC exam for 2019-20 will be conducted as per the revised schedule. Therefore, there is no need for students or parents to worry,” he added.
