BENGALURU:
Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar said on Thursday that the SSLC exam results will be announced by August 8.
Speaking to the media, the minister said the results would be declared on August 6 or 8.
Responding to a question on whether schools would open in August, he said, “No decision has been taken to open schools in August, following the Central government guidelines. We will take a decision on this in the next few days.”
Responding to the controversy over removal of some subjects from school textbooks, he said the decision had been put on hold. “We have instructed the Text Book Committee to review it again,” he said.
