
BENGALURU:
The state government has issued an order for the transfer of 37 IPS officers in Karnataka. This move includes the transfer of prominent officers such as Kamal Pant and Alok Kumar, along with the promotion of some officers.
Among the notable transfers are:
- Kamal Pant, has been appointed as the Director General of Police (DGP) in the Recruitment Department.
- Alok Kumar, has been designated as the Special Commissioner of the Road Safety Department.
- Seemanth Kumar Singh, has been appointed as the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) in the Bangalore Metropolitan Task Force (BMTF).
- Harishekaran has been designated as the ADGP of the Home Guards and Civil Defence.
- Nanjundaswamy, has been appointed as the ADGP of the Fire and Emergency Services.
- Chandragupta, has been designated as the Additional Commissioner of Police in the Bangalore Central Crime Branch (CCB).
- Thiagarajan, has been appointed as the Inspector General of Police (IGP) in the East Zone.
- Amit Singh, has been designated as the IGP of the West Zone.
