HASSAN: Two people were shot dead in broad daylight in Hoysala Nagar in Hassan today afternoon.
The families of two deceased arrived the spot and established the identities. The deceased have been identified as Sharafat Ali of Hassan and Asif of Bengaluru. It is alleged that one person shot another, then he killed shooting.
Police Superintendent Mohammad Sujeetha visited the site of the shootout and an FSL team collected evidence.
The SP said that some locals mentioned that the two men were talking at the spot when one person shot the other and then killed himself. A weapon has been found inside the car.
The two men reportedly had an argument regarding a residential site. It is suspected that, they came to talk about this issue, but the argument escalated and ended in shooting.
