Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has successfully completed the undergraduate medical seat allotment process for the current academic year, with all remaining vacant seats filled in the third stray vacancy round, officials confirmed on Monday.
KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna said that all eight UG medical seats that were vacant after earlier rounds have now been allotted strictly on the basis of merit and eligibility.
The list of candidates who have been allotted seats has been published on the official KEA website, and selected students have been instructed to report to their respective colleges on December 30 to complete the admission formalities.

“With the completion of this round, the UG medical seat allotment process for this academic year has formally concluded, and no seats remain vacant,” Prasanna said.
According to KEA, the final vacancies included:
- Five seats at MVJ Medical College, Hoskote
- Two seats at MR Medical College, Kalaburagi
- One seat at SDM Medical College, Dharwad
All these seats have now been successfully allotted, bringing the medical admission process for the year to a close.
