Belagavi/Bengaluru: Union Minister of State for Railways and Jal Shakti V. Somanna conducted a window-trailing inspection between Dharwad and Belagavi, reviewing infrastructure, safety, and passenger amenities along the route.
During the journey, the Minister inspected Alnawar and Londa railway stations, where he interacted with passengers and local residents. Somanna patiently heard their grievances, ranging from service improvements to station facilities, and assured that prompt action would be taken to address their concerns.

The inspection was aimed at strengthening efficiency, passenger safety, and regional connectivity on the Hubballi–Belagavi railway corridor, which plays a critical role in both passenger and freight movement.
The Minister was accompanied by senior officials including Divisional Railway Manager (Hubballi) Smt. Bela Meena, Chief Administrative Officer (Construction) Ajay Sharma, Principal Chief Commercial Manager S.P. Shastri, and other railway officers.
