Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has appealed to his Telangana counterpart, A Revanth Reddy, for immediate assistance in rescuing workers trapped after a tunnel collapse in the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) project. The incident has affected at least eight workers, four of whom hail from Jharkhand.
