
MANDYA:
Villagers staying near the banks of the swollen Cauvery and Hemavathi rivers have been alerted as 75,000 cusecs of water has been released from the KRS dam.
“The reservoir already has of 117.75 feet of water vis-a-vis a maximum level of 124.80 feet. There was an inflow of 70,000 cusecs and 75,000 cusecs has been released,” said an irrigation department official.
