BENGALURU:
Health Minister B Sriramulu said on Tuesday that Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa is asymptomatic and in stable condition while opposition leader Siddaramaiah has a high fever.
Sriramulu was speaking to reporters after a meeting with doctors of Manipal Hospital, where both leaders are being treated for Covid.
The minister tweeted: “On the one hand, it’s common people, on the other hand it is people’s leaders who are working day and night in the fight against Corona. The honourable Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who are leading the state during this challenging time, have been infected…”
“As health minister, I have consulted the doctors…The health of both leaders is stable and no one needs to worry.”
