Accused had held victim ‘responsible’ for his daughter’s suicide
CHIKKABALAPUR:
A youth was fatally stabbed by his former lover’s father in Bagepalli taluk on Friday night. According to the police, there were 17 stab wounds on the body of the victim.
The accused, Venkatesh, had held a grudge against Harish (25), a resident of Yagava Madalakhane village, after his daughter committed suicide 10 months ago.
Venkatesh and his friend Ganesh attacked Harish while the latter was riding his bike late on Friday night. The duo have been arrested by the Bagepalli police.
