Bengaluru | Railway Board Member Inspects Redevelopment Works of Yeshavantpur and Cantonment Railway Stations

Roop Narayana Sunkar, a member of the Railway Board responsible for infrastructure, conducted a thorough inspection of the Baiyyappanahalli-Whitefield quadruple track and the Hosur-Bayyyappanahalli section on Friday. Additionally, he assessed the progress of the redevelopment projects at Yeshavantpur and Bangalore Dandu railway stations.
Following the inspections, Narayan Sunkar convened a progress review meeting at the Divisional Railway Managers Conference Hall. This meeting included senior officials from South Western Railway, Bangalore Division, Railway Construction Corporation, Gati Shakti, K-Ride, Karnataka Rail Infrastructure Development Authority, and Rail Vikas Corporation Limited.
During the meeting, Narayan Sunkar expressed his appreciation and satisfaction with the progress of the work. He also took the opportunity to share his insights and experiences with the attendees.

Officers present at the meeting included Yogish Mohan, Divisional Railway Manager of Bangalore Division, Chief Administrative Officer of the Construction Division at South Western Railway S.P.S. Gupta, South Western Railway’s Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer V.K. Agarwal, Principal Financial Adviser and Chief Accountant of the Construction Division Anju Ranjan, and Principal Chief Engineer of South Western Railway Ram Gopal.
