Bengaluru: A 25-year-old woman was sexually harassed by an unknown man while out walking her dog in Upkar Layout, under the jurisdiction of Jnanabharati Police Station.
The incident occurred around 10:30 PM on November 7, but the case came to light only recently. According to the complaint, the woman had taken her pet dog for a walk near her residence when an unidentified man approached her, asking if he could pet the dog. As she complied, the man allegedly touched her inappropriately.
The victim resisted, pushing the man away. When the suspect tried to harass her again, she shouted loudly and forced him away. During the scuffle, her mobile phone fell, which the accused picked up before fleeing the scene.
Following the complaint filed at Jnanabharati Police Station, authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding area. Police have confirmed that efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the suspect.
