The BJP chief criticized the Congress government, alleging confusion over the caste census issue and failure to act during heavy rains. He said district-level teams have already begun groundwork to highlight local problems and mobilize workers for upcoming polls.

Vijayendra also revealed his plans for tours across northern Karnataka. “Along with Chalavadi Narayanaswamy and other leaders, I will be touring Raichur and Kalaburagi districts on the 3rd and 4th of next month. We will also cover Vijayapura and other districts,” he announced.
On Congress’ internal dynamics, Vijayendra pointed to long-standing tensions between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar. “You saw Siddaramaiah’s show of strength in Mysuru and how Shivakumar rushed to Delhi from the same stage. The Congress remains deeply divided, and it remains to be seen how this will unfold in the coming days,” he said.
The BJP state core committee meeting brought together several senior leaders, including former Chief Minister and Parliamentary Board member B.S. Yediyurappa, Leader of Opposition R.
