Bengaluru: The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has taken swift action against illegal garbage dumping after a vehicle was caught on camera dumping waste on a public road in Ward 29 of the Sarvagnanagar Division.
According to officials, the incident involved vehicle number KA-53-MK-5256, which was recorded dumping garbage along the roadside. Acting on the video evidence and following directions from Bengaluru North City Corporation (BNCC) Commissioner Pommala Suneel Kumar, the civic enforcement team immediately initiated action.

A team led by Junior Health Inspector (JHI) Sandeep, along with BNCC officials, traced the vehicle with the support of the Traffic Police. The Bengaluru North City Corporation has reiterated that illegal dumping will attract strict penalties and urged residents to dispose of waste responsibly.

“Cleanliness is a shared responsibility. Civic violations such as illegal dumping will be dealt with firmly,” BNCC officials said, appealing to citizens to cooperate in keeping the city clean.
