Radon, a naturally occurring radioactive gas, results from the decay of uranium found in minerals and rocks. Accumulating in various workplaces, including offices, underground locations, and industrial facilities processing naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM), radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer globally.
