BENGALURU/KOLAR: A recent incident in Kolar involved a driver under the influence who recklessly drove their car onto the railway platform at Tyakal Railway Station in Kolar district late at night.
The driver, identified as Rakesh, lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the platform and onto the tracks, resulting in damage to the car. Rakesh managed to escape unscathed.
Railway police swiftly responded to the scene and utilized a crane to remove the car from the tracks.
