An Uzbek woman, Egamberdieva Zebo, 43, was discovered deceased in a Lucknow hotel room, prompting an investigation by local authorities. The incident occurred in the Vibhutikhand area, where Zebo had been staying alone since March 5 after the departure of her companion, a Delhi resident named Satnam Singh.
