BENGALURU:
Revised guidelines for international returnees by air/sea to Karnataka were issued on Friday, as per which:
•All travellers shall submit a self-declaration form on the Yatri Karnataka online portal (http://www.covidwar.karnataka.gov.in/ or https://parihara.karnataka.gov.in/Service/)
at least 72 hours before the scheduled date of travel.
•Business/short term travellerswho come with a negative RT-PCR test report shall be exempted from quarantine requirements.
•All passengers shall download the Arogya Setu app, the Quarantine watch app and the Apthamitra App on their mobile devices. (https://covidl9.karnataka.gov.in/new-page/softwares/en)
•Only asymptomatic travellers shall be allowed to board after thermal screening.
•Travellers who have not filled the self-declaration form on the Yatri Karnataka portal shall fill the same in duplicate and a copy shall be given to health and immigration officials at the airport/seaport.

•All arrivals will be screened for symptoms of Covid-19 and a self-declaration form shall be obtained from each passenger.
•Symptomatic passengers will be sent to dedicated Covid centres for testing.If positive, a triage shall be done for home isolation or shifting to hospital. If negative, they will be advised to complete the home quarantine period of 14 days.
•Asymptomatic passengers will be sent to home /institutional quarantine for 14 days.
•Business/short-term travellers coming for short duration of 48 hours are exempted from tests and quarantine.
•If the duration of stay in Karnataka is more than 48 hours and less than 7 days, a test shall be done and after getting a negative report such a person can complete his engagements and go back.
•Business/short-term visitors who come with a negative RT-PCR test report shall be exempted from testing on arrival. This RT-PCR test should have been conducted within 96 hrs prior to undertaking the journey.
•Passengers who have landed in other states and arrive in Karnataka shall undergo rapid antigen testing after reaching the respective district if symptomatic.
•Students who are writing exams in Karnataka shall be exempted from home quarantine after testing negative by rapid antigen testing (RAT) or carrying a negative RT-PCR test report which should have been conducted within 96 hrs prior to undertaking the journey.
•The cost of a test shall be paid by the passengers themselves (RAT Rs 700 and RT-PCR Rs 2,000)
