On Friday, thousands gathered in Bratislava and other Slovak cities to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Robert Fico. The ongoing protests, which have been occurring bi-weekly since January, were fueled by Fico’s controversial foreign policy that critics claim brings Slovakia closer to Russia.
