Karnataka has seen a substantial increase in the Covid recovery rate by 5.67% in the last week, according to Medical Education Minister Dr K Sudhakar.
“Everyday there is an increase in the recovery rate by 9.17% in Bengaluru city. The overall recovery rate of the state by Sunday evening was 42.81% and 35.14% in Bengaluru,” the minister tweeted.

Daughter’s woes
Referring to the case of a woman’s struggle to get the body of her father after St. John’s Hospital in Madivala allegedly asked for money to hand over the body, Sudhakar directed officials to resolve the issue. “It is inhumane on the part of the hospital to refuse to hand over the body,” he tweeted.
