Bengaluru: In a proactive move to guarantee complete participation in the ongoing Comprehensive Scheduled Castes Survey across the West Zone, Zonal Commissioner Suralkar Vikas Kishor has ordered the implementation of identifying stickers for surveyed households.
This initiative is designed to streamline the process and ensure that no resident within the Scheduled Castes community is missed. During a review meeting held at the West Zone office today, Commissioner Kishor emphasized the crucial role of these stickers in clearly marking homes where the survey has been completed.
This allows survey teams to efficiently identify and target remaining households, accelerating the process towards 100% participation. He immediately directed officials to begin affixing stickers to residences after verifying survey completion.
Recognizing the power of community collaboration, Commissioner Kishor stressed the importance of partnering with organizations like the National Service Scheme (NSS), ACC, and other registered groups to bolster survey efforts and expand outreach.
To further monitor progress and address any remaining households, he also mandated the use of data from BESCOM (Bangalore Electricity Supply Company) and BWSSB.
