In December 1975, Andrei Sakharov, a noted Soviet dissident, undertook a covert operation to ensure his Nobel Peace Prize speech reached Oslo. Despite being barred from attending the ceremony, Sakharov delivered his message through a Norwegian diplomat in Moscow.
