500 Tirumala laddoos sold in just an hour
TIRUPATI:
After 55 days, the sale of laddoo prasad at Tirupati -Tirumala resumed on Friday on a trial basis in the Tirupati Tirumala Temple Committee’s office building.
Due to the lockdown, the temple had shut its doors to devotees and the sale of prasad had stopped.
Laddoos were sold for Rs 200 and Rs 100. On the first day, all 500 laddoos and vadas were sold out in just 1 hour.
In the past 55 days, only 51 large laddoos were prepared and used for the Srivari Naivedya (offering to God) in the temple.
