With just a few months left for assembly polls, Congress leaders and workers should go to the people and highlight the party’s policies and the budget presented by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, state minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas on Thursday said. The food and Civil Supplies minister said people have been suffering from high inflation and it is the duty of the central government to provide relief but this work is being done by the state government. “The chief minister has presented an excellent budget. Ten-eleven months are left for the assembly elections and it is our duty to take the party’s policies and state’s budget among the people,” he told reporters outside the assembly building here. When asked about the statement of Sachin Pilot that the decision on the party’s affairs in Rajasthan must be taken soon if the trend of alternate governments has to be bucked, he said it is for the PCC president to comment on it.
