A large number of BJP workers and ex-servicemen staged a protest in Krishnagiri and many parts of Tamil Nadu on Thursday demanding stringent action on the assailants of M Prabhu, an Indian Army soldier, who succumbed after he was severely thrashed by a DMK functionary and his accomplices in Pochampally in Krishnagiri district.
